From phone tag to booked visits, with the whole job on our client's phone.
Our client is a carpenter and shop fitter in North West London, covering carpentry, kitchens, bespoke furniture and commercial shopfitting. Every job starts with a £40 site visit, taken off the final price if the customer goes ahead, and until now booking one meant phone tag. We built him a fast site on his own domain, online booking for site visits, automatic emails from his own address, and a back office that lives on his phone and pings him when a booking comes in. No booking platform, no commission, and nothing to pay each month beyond hosting.

What a customer sees when they find our client's site and book a visit, and what lands on his phone when they do.
One site, one booking flow, one back office.
The site
The client's own domain, built around his own work: 27 projects with photos and before-and-after sliders that he adds and edits himself, a page for each of his four services and one for the areas he covers.
Booking a site visit
Customers describe the job in their own words, pick a time from his real availability (weekday evenings and weekends) and get a reference straight away. Double bookings can't happen, and a private link lets them change or cancel without calling.
The emails
Eight automatic emails from his own address: confirmations, a reminder the day before, changes and cancellations for the customer, and an alert to him for every new booking, change or cancel. Replies go straight to his Gmail.
The back-office app
Our client confirms, moves or declines visits, sets his hours and time off, and sees the week at a glance. It installs on his phone like an app, stays signed in and sends a notification for each new booking, change or cancellation, each one switchable.
The site customers see.
Designed for the screen it's read on.
Most visits to a local business start on a phone, so every section is laid out for one first: the opening screen fits without scrolling, buttons sit where a thumb lands, and nothing runs off the side.

What makes it work.
Booking that respects how he works
Visits only go into his real hours, with notice and a buffer between jobs, and nothing is confirmed until he says so. Confirming sends the customer their confirmation email automatically.
Emails from his own address
Confirmations, a reminder the day before, changes and cancellations go out under his business name, from his own domain, and every reply lands straight in his Gmail.
A phone app without an app store
The back office installs from the browser on iPhone and Android, with his own logo as the icon. Notifications can be turned on or off per phone, and per type.
His work does the selling
Real project photos, before-and-after sliders and a page per service, all managed from his phone, so the site grows every time he finishes a job.
Honest about the £40
The site visit fee is stated up front everywhere, along with the fact that it comes off the final price, so nobody books expecting a free quote.
Nothing to rent
No booking platform or per-booking commission. The site, bookings, emails and app are his, on hosting he already pays for.

Every site we launch is optimised three ways, so customers find it however they search.

Thinking of a site like this?
How much does a website for a carpenter or tradesperson cost?
Coyote Concept builds websites from £300, and quotes for briefs are free: send us what you need and we'll price it.
Can my website take bookings without a booking platform?
Yes. Our client's customers book a £40 site visit straight on his own site, at times from his real availability, with no booking platform in between and no commission on any booking.
Can I get a notification on my phone when someone books?
Yes. We build your back office as an app that installs from the browser on iPhone and Android. It sends a notification for each new booking, change or cancellation, and you choose which ones you get.
Can booking emails come from my own business email address?
Yes. Our client's confirmations, reminders, changes and cancellations go out from his own domain, and customer replies land in his own inbox.
Will my new website show up on Google and in AI search?
Every site we build is set up for Google, AI assistants and answer boxes from the start: a page for each service and area, Google-format business details, plain factual text and answers to the questions customers ask.
Can my website show before-and-after photos of my work?
Yes. We show your jobs as before-and-after sliders, or as a scroll-driven build like the one on this page, and on sites like our client's you add new projects and photos yourself from your phone.
Do you build websites outside London?
Yes. We're based in London and build websites for businesses worldwide.
